Change of underwriters to Allianz
Dear Members,
Following discussions over the past few weeks regarding the renewal of the IIHF insurance scheme on 3 April 2026, I am pleased to inform members that a new underwriting arrangement has been agreed.
From the forthcoming renewal, the IIHF insurance scheme will be underwritten by Allianz, arranged through our existing brokers Arachas Corporate Brokers.
Allianz is one of the world’s largest and most respected insurance companies, operating in over 70 countries and insuring millions of businesses globally. Their involvement in the IIHF scheme represents a very positive step forward for the inflatable hire industry in Ireland.
Key Improvements to the Scheme
Following negotiations with the brokers and underwriters, the following improvements have been secured for IIHF members:
• 10% reduction in premiums across the scheme
• Lower minimum premium, helping smaller operators access proper insurance cover
• Improved pricing structure for members requiring the full €6.5 million Public Liability cover, which is often required for work with schools, councils and corporate events
• Continued access to a dedicated insurance scheme designed specifically for inflatable hire businesses
• Support from a major global insurer with strong financial stability
• Ongoing administration and support through Arachas Corporate Brokers
Under the new arrangement, members who require the €6.5 million Public Liability cover will benefit from a simplified and more competitive pricing structure when increasing cover levels.

Proposal Forms
Members will shortly receive renewal documentation and proposal forms from Arachas Corporate Brokers.
To ensure a smooth renewal process for the entire scheme, members are asked to complete and return proposal forms as soon as possible once received.
Early return of proposal forms will assist Arachas in processing renewals efficiently ahead of the 3 April renewal date.
